Parents are desperately searching for creative solutions to tame the tantrums and tears of children being home all day. Pushing pencils and hot buttons as everyone struggles to get through "one more worksheet" is not the answer. Let's take a deep breath and a good look at why social and emotional well being is so important, now more than ever. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is how children learn to manage and understand their emotions, show empathy towards others, cultivate positive relationships, set goals, and make responsible decisions. All of which are vital to your child's Emotional Intelligence.  The Giggles n Groovin program has implemented those skills into Guided, Engaging, Entertaining, and Educational PLAY sessions. This online version is a spin off of the Classroom Curriculum, currently being used in the best private schools and in partnership with the PBC library system.

Programs like Giggles n Groovin that teach emotional intelligence in schools have lasting impact. ... Social-emotional learning teaches children to recognize and understand their emotions, feel empathy, make decisions and build and maintain relationships.

IQ is used to determine academic abilities and identify individuals with off-the-chart intelligence or mental challenges.

EQ  is a better indicator of success in the workplace and is used to identify leaders, good team players, and people who best work by themselves.
